Customizing the Resellers Web Interface (RWI)

ResellOne offers Resellers several opportunities to promote their corporate identity to their customer base. This document provides a quick reference guide of the functionality that Resellers are able to brand within the RWI.



Configuring the RWI - Reseller Contact Information:

Ensuring current contact information is key to promoting and being informed about the status of your ResellOne services.

To ensure your contact information is current, login to the Reseller Web Interface using your username and password. On the main index page, locate the Profile Management section.

Click on the Reseller Contact Information hyperlink and the following screen will appear:



Note: The information gathered in this interface is used for ResellOne internal purposes only. All information remains confidential. Please take a moment to complete the relevant fields and click on the Save Changes button to complete the updates.



WHOIS & Customer Support Response Listing

ResellOne provides a separate entry field for Resellers to tailor the information they want to associate with domains registered under their account. This information is public.

Below the Reseller Contact Information, you will notice the hyperlink to update Support and Whois Information for your Customers. Click on this link and you will be taken to:



The interface also includes the opportunity to customize the referral message that ResellOne sends to your customer(s), on your behalf in the event they contact us in error.



Incorporate your edits by pressing the Save Changes button.



Technical Contact Information

The technical contact information is the prime/default recipient of ResellOne Live Reseller Updates (operational email alerts) and other communication. The information gathered in these fields remains confidential, however the tech contact information is used as a default for the technical contact and will be publicly displayed in the whois output

From the Profile Management section, click on Technical Contact Information and you will be taken to:



Directly following the name and address fields, you will find the location for entering your default NameServer Information. The primary and secondary DNS Hostname fields must be propagated in order to perform domain name registrations.



From this screen you are also able to configure messages that will be sent to your customers when they successfully register a domain (Email Message from ResellOne) or customer confirmation, password, and domain authorization codes (Email Messages to Customer). Take a moment to brand these messages.



Click on the Save Changes button to apply your updates and to return to the main index page.



Customizing Your Customer Experience - Domain Name Renewal Settings

Renewals of domain names currently account for approximately 50% of all domain name revenues. Ensuring your domain name renewal features are enabled and branded can ensure your recurring renewal revenue.

Access the Renewal Management interface from the main index page.



Clicking on the Renewal Management link will take you to the following screen:



From the Renewal Settings section, click on the Configure daily end user renewal reminder email hyperlink.

From the following screen you are able to customize the 90, 60, 30, 10 and -10 day domain name expiration email messages. Take this opportunity to remind your customers of the value you offer as their supplier.



Click on Save Changes to update the email content.

From Renewal Settings Interface, click on Configure renewal order processing messages link:



Click on Save Changes to apply your customization to the email messages.



Domain Name Transfer Settings

Resellers can also customize transfer settings and email communications. From the Transfer Management link on the main index page, you will be able to:





Begin by ensuring that you are aware of all the communication vehicles facilitating the transfer process. To do this go to the RSP Messaging heading and click on the Transfers Away From Your Account link o be taken to the following interface at:



Ensure that you put all the radio buttons on Yes and then Save Changes.

Returning to the Transfer Management section, locate the End-User Messaging section and click on Transfers to Your Account.



Take a moment to update the content and ensure the display names. Click on the Save Changes button to apply the updates.

Returning to the Transfer Management section, locate the End-User Messaging section and click on Transfers From Your Account.



Take a few moments to customize your email templates. Use this as an opportunity to prevent unintentional transfers, win-back business, and ensure your customers are making an informed choice. Confirm that the transfer request is legitimate and your customer can prevent unwanted transfers. Reinforce the benefits of using you as their supplier of domain names and related services.

Click on the Save Changes button to apply the updates.

Returning to the Transfer Management section, locate the Web Page Customization section and click on Customize Transfer Page. The Transfer Page is where end-users will go to accept or decline any transfer requests to or from your account. It is located at:



Take advantage of this powerful real estate. From this interface, you can upload your corporate logo and tailor any communication to your end-customers.

Click on Preview Text Changes to review your content. From the following interface you will be able to Edit, Save or Cancel the changes. Click on Save to customize the web page.

At this time, you can Logout from the Profile Management section located on the Main Index interface.
